Its modelled in 18ct gold with a slit in the centre lined with alternating blue sapphires and twinkling old mine cut diamonds. Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The piece is held securely around the wrist by a safety chain and heart padlock clasp complete with London hallmarks at the back that date to 1977

It’s set in a claw mount that holds it flush in the gallery and forms deep grooves down the shoulders
