Bronze Matchbook Sculpture SofaHandsome, patina'ed bronze statue of a matchbook, signed by artist and dated 1996. Tremendously heavy at approximately 50 pounds. Gorgeous silhouettes throughout and a lovely organic texture. Several matches are sculpted at angles, such that they mimic the shape of a singed, spent match. A single match protrudes from the statue's base and appears to lift the box open. Incredibly sturdy and well made. Rugged yet elegant presence. Entirely unique.
