A Very Good Pair of Victorian Silver Candlesticks Sheffield 1847 by T.J. and N.Creswick Silversmith_Matthew Cooperenquire A superb pair of tall early Victorian candlesticks in the Rococo revival style, with detachable conforming drip pans and acanthus and floral decoration, inverted baluster stems to scrollwork tripartite loaded bases. Each with crest to base. All parts identically marked for Sheffield 1847 by T. J. and N. Creswick. A very fine pair of sticks in excellent original condition. No damage or repair and only very minor signs of wear to the decoration.

These wonderful tureens are appropriately matched with 2 very fine pairs of Onslow pattern sauce ladles

All the silver parts are in excellent condition with only very minor signs of wear

with early nineteenth century examples typically found

Each standing on a raised circular base with chased & embossed floral and shell decoration
