Pursuit #1 Framed:Framed (30x40)The Pursuit Series was shot in NYC over two separate trips.

I take this road to get to Albany

The young men on horseback are Terrence and Lucus

While hanging out at the Pettway lounge (the only business of any kind in Gee's Bend) I struck up a conversation with a man who actually grew up in this particular house and gave me the history of the 12 foot room

I stopped and spoke with them for a few minutes and they were very eager to get their photo taken

which resulted in the addition of what was called the 12 foot room because of its dimensions

After figuring out that I was not heading his direction I asked if I could take his photography and we parted ways

First was that he was standing there waiting for a ride
