Each case has a 1 2" foam covered pads with blue felt. THERE IS NO FITTING OR CUT OUTS IN THE FOAM. Finished with a clear satin lacquer for a lustrous glow. Glass is held in place with a rubber retainer for easy removal if repair is ever needed

Green pad holds shells firmly in place when the case is closed
