kabayaki 販売中KABAYAKI Ink BUNGUBOX was born in Hamamatsu. A town known for musical instruments, mandarin oranges, and delicious eels! In 2012, we produced two inks to commemorate our local city of Hamamatsu. Mikan (Mandarin Orange) and this ink, inspired by the dark brown Kabayaki sauce used to give grilled eel that irresistible taste. As a high source of protein, eel is considered a summer delicacy to get through the hot humid days. There is even an "eel day"
