Remember When Framed:Framed (20x26)I love the soft light in this image, there is something very calming about it for me.

The young men on horseback are Terrence and Lucus

While hanging out at the Pettway lounge (the only business of any kind in Gee's Bend) I struck up a conversation with a man who actually grew up in this particular house and gave me the history of the 12 foot room

After seeing the image for the first time I felt an instant connection to it

He has the most amazing shoes

This image was taken in Gee's Bend

after seeing Jerry here standing there at the stop sign I pulled over to ask for some direction

The solution was to come back and do additions to the house

He was one of 14 family members that shared this tiny house

which resulted in the addition of what was called the 12 foot room because of its dimensions
