Marnes & Calcaires Riesling, Turckheim Size:75clAn exemplary, delicate Alsatian Riesling. Bottle age has lent an alluringly complex baked citrus nose. Racy, dry and elegant, this is a fine Riesling with potential to age. Marl and limestone soils are found in abundance on the slopes surrounding Turckheim and Wintzenheim. Providing wines with purity and longevity, brilliant expressions of Riesling and Pinots Blanc and Gris come from these soils. The chalk and clay soils of the slopes around Turckheim

This consistent power to please makes it ideal as an aperitif

All grapes are removed from weak shoots that does not have the required lenght at veraison

The new wine remained on its skins for an additional 6–7-day post-fermentation maceration and a total vinification of approximately 20 days
