Sheepskin Lounge Chairs Rocking ChairThis pair of lounge chairs produced by a Danish Cabinetmaker in the 1940s are typical of Nordic upholstered furniture of this period, featuring exaggerated curves in the arms and back, a deep, wide seat and low, thick oak feet that have be re stained and finished. The chairs have been totally refurbished at our London workshops with new padding and tightened springs for maximum comfort. It has been recovered in premium Moonlight sheepskin.

This example is upholstered in Dedar Milan's 'A Joy' fabric - a textural and irregular twill combining a linen and bouclé wool

The original cane sides and back are in excellent condition

This new design has been developed in close collaboration with the family of Arnold Madsen by mirroring elements from the Clam Chair

This iteration with a woven rattan cane seat and back wrapped in cane was the 1st of 3 that Wegner designed in quick succession starting in 1949
