we went exploring along the river bed hoping for a shot

Night of March 21st is spent inside the cave system in comfortable tents

Had to do a little bit of exploring and clambering on some steep slopes to get to this spot

luxurious transport

So I decided to focus my effort on creating a shot that was unique and hopefully a new perspective of albeit an often photographed place

So close to home and yet so many light years apart

the warm colors of the sky contrasted against the deep blues of the water

Based on the incredible photographic opportunities offered by the diverse landscape of Iceland we will travel across the South Coast with emphasis on photographing Volcanoes
