Ceramic moth sculptural105mm W x 60mm H (not including antennae) Wall hung ceramic moth Each moth is constructed of layered clay imprinted with patterns from vintage lace doilies. After an initial firing the moths are coloured and fired again. Small bird feathers are added for antennae. Jenny Wilson draws inspiration from the women in her mothers family, who raised silk moths for their cocoons and fibre. She holds vivid childhood memories of hearing her mothers stories,
