Kaesler ' Reach For The Sky' Shiraz region_gippslandProducer Kaesler has been a part of the Barossa Valley since its founding. First established in the 1840's and by the 1890's it had expanded to 90 acres, all planted with Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvedre, and some white Rhone varieties. Over the years, many vines have been replaced, but some of the original Shiraz plantings remain. The Kaesler family owned the winery until 1999 when Ed Peter and winemaker Reid Bosward took over.
