2014 Santenay 1er Cru Les Gravières Domaine Jessiaume Burgundy german winesThis premier cru is all about elegance, finesse and subtlety. A fine myriad of red berry, bramble and cherry fruits from a marvellous vintage. There is just over 4. 2ha of Gravires rouge, with a similar south and east exposure, near the bottom of the slope, with limestone scree in the soils. This has aromas of ripe black plum and cassis, plus an impressive density and tannic grip on the palate. Truly a wine of complexity and depth. Lovely.
