Early 20th Century 900 Silver Gilt 'Letter' Vesta CuriosA fine and unusual early 20th century 900 silver gilt vesta, likely American in origin. The vesta is in the form of a sealed envelope, with the front bearing a silver stamp and the address 'His Excellency, Count d'Aico Valley, Washington' and the reverse showing the envelope folds with a match striker to the stamp end. There is some tarnish to the gilt and the hinge is a little over sprung; it opens nicely but has lost its 'snap'. A great little
