Oil painting by Ivan Kyrum - 1992 Aage ChristiansenDanish painter Ivan Kyrum was born in 1942 in Helsinge. He spent a number of years living in Hrslev, North Funen where he produced a large body of paintings in his studio and exhibited them in his own gallery. Forms and textures found in nature were a significant source of inspiration to the artist, and he often kept tree trunks, branches and stones in his studio. When we look at this painting, we immediately appreciate the artists love of colour.
