A George III Silver Tea/Drinks Tray London 1811 William and Peter Bateman Period_William IIIenquire A very good quality George III oval silver tray with twin handles and gadrooned edges. The whole standing on four scrolled panel feet. Clearly marked to the underside for London 1811 by Peter and William Bateman. This is an exceptionally fine tray by the renowned makers Peter and William Bateman. Very good quality robust gauge silver. Stands flat on a table top. A very elegant and easily used tray. Very comfortable to pick up and carry.

This pattern was very popular and therefore large quantities were produced throughout the nineteenth century
